We Host 2-4 Day Retreats that will start with relaxation and meet & greets. We will continue with riding and/or groundwork, liberty training, and fun experiences with other equestrians. Your retreat ends with an educational presentation.

Your retreat will take place right at Free Spirit Equestrian in the heart of Michigan's horse country. Spend the day learning and riding at FSE with Shae! After, we will explore the dining experiences nearby while talking horses "of course". Located in Saline, MI. We also offer off-site retreats as well!

For Riding Retreats, riders must be able to walk, trot, post, steer, and stop independently to be accepted into the riding retreat. This retreat is for advanced beginners through experienced riders. It's okay if you're a little rusty, but you must be confident riding in a group setting. Non-Riding Retreats do not require riding experience!

Free Spirit Equestrian Alumni Retreat
I’m excited to announce that we are launching an FSE Alumni Retreat! This retreat is located in Michigan, about 3 hours North of FSE. We have reserved lodging at an Equestrian Campground and have booked a private lodge which is a beautiful farmhouse! The horses will be on-site with us, and we have a private area with DIRECT Trail Access!!!! The retreat is only for previous equestrians who have visited the farm or current students 18+. This whole retreat is meant to connect with one another, experience these amazing trails, and RIDE! This retreat includes all lodging, meals, horses, equipment, etc. we will be doing both AM & PM trail rides, bonfires, meals, games, and of course Q&A about whatever you have been longing for in your horsemanship journey. This will be a relaxing yet exhilarating experience. Dates will be June 12-14th.

After completion of the retreat, you will also gain access to our Horse Lover Community Page where you can stay in touch with other participants, connect with more horse lovers, share you experiences with horses, and network within the FSE community!

In order to join our retreat or events please send in your applications (listed below). retreats and opportunities are in very high demand and typically fill up very quickly. Once applications are reviewed you will be notified of your approval. Upon approval a $700 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot for the retreat or opportunity. You will be notified of your approval and sent payment information. Video submission may be required upon request and must be sent within 24 hours of request to hold your spot. The remaining Balance will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Upon payment you will be sent additional information and a welcome packet within 1-7 days. This information will contain addresses, travel info, airport info, packing lists, restaurant itineraries, detailed curriculum, more details etc.) We hope to see you soon!
