We Host 2-4 Day Retreats that will start with relaxation and meet & greets. We will continue with riding and/or groundwork, liberty training, and fun experiences with other equestrians. Your retreat ends with an educational presentation.

Your retreat will take place right at Free Spirit Equestrian in the heart of Michigan's horse country. Spend the day learning and riding at FSE with Shae! After, we will explore the dining experiences nearby while talking horses "of course". Located in Saline, MI. We also offer off-site retreats as well!

To keep the retreats personal and intimate, we are limiting retreats to 6-10 Horse Lovers. This way we can focus on individual needs while in a group setting.

All lodging and meals are included with Retreats (programs, clinics, and day experiences only include lunch. Alcohol and hotel snacks are not included). The hotel is included along with Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Transportation is NOT included.

For Riding Retreats, riders must be able to walk, trot, post, steer, and stop independently to be accepted into the riding retreat. This retreat is for advanced beginners through experienced riders. It's okay if you're a little rusty, but you must be confident riding in a group setting. Non-Riding Retreats do not require riding experience!

Experience the best of both worlds at the Trail Ride & Arena Combo Retreat at Free Spirit Equestrian. This unique retreat blends the freedom of scenic trail rides with focused arena time, offering riders a well-rounded experience that builds confidence, connection, and joy—both in and out of the saddle.
Day 1-
Arrive at the Hampton in Hotel in Saline, Michigan! Settle in for the evening, relax, open your FSE gift bags and relax for the evening!
Day 2-
Your day will start at the hotel where we will have breakfast and meet Shae with some Q&A! Afterwards we will meet at Free Spirit Farm for the day!

Day 4:
Day 4 will start with Breakfast at 8:30am with Shae followed by a morning ride at the farm focusing on a group selected topic! We will do a shorter morning ride that will end around 10:30am. We will groom the horses afterwards then say our farewells around 11:30am. After completion of the retreat, you will also gain access to our Horse Lover Community Page where you can stay in touch with other participants, connect with more horse lovers, share you experiences with horses, and network within the FSE community!
PRICING FOR TRAIL COMBO RETREAT: $3,000 Per Person
RETREAT INCLUSIONS-
All meals included (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snack). 3 Nights at the Saline Hampton Inn Hotel, All Coaching, Instruction, Horses Provided.
RETREAT EXCLUSIONS-
This Retreat DOES NOT INCLUDE Rental Car, Airport Transportation, Transportation to and from the Farm, Alcohol, Hotel Snacks, Hotel INDICENTALS.

Application & Review Process
In order to join our retreat or events please send in your applications (listed below). retreats and opportunities are in very high demand and typically fill up very quickly. Once applications are reviewed you will be notified of your approval. Upon approval a $700 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot for the retreat or opportunity. You will be notified of your approval and sent payment information. Video submission may be required upon request and must be sent within 24 hours of request to hold your spot. The remaining Balance will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Upon payment you will be sent additional information and a welcome packet within 1-7 days. This information will contain addresses, travel info, airport info, packing lists, restaurant itineraries, detailed curriculum, more details etc.) We hope to see you soon!
